North Region (Multi-site role, based out of Chorley site)

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact across a diverse operational environment? At Elis, we're looking for a Regional HR Advisor to join the HR Team, partnering with managers across the North Region to deliver expert HR support, drive best practice and help create high-performing teams. Working closely with the Regional HR Business Partner, you'll be a trusted advisor to managers, providing practical guidance on employee relations matters, supporting people initiatives, and ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Advising and coaching managers on employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases
  • Supporting formal HR processes and ensuring best practice and compliance
  • Monitoring people metrics and identifying trends, risks and opportunities
  • Delivering HR health checks and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting employee engagement activities and people-focused projects
  • Coordinating and delivering HR and people management training
  • Supporting recruitment and talent initiatives across the region

Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience managing employee relations cases in an operational and/or multi-site environment
  • Confidence in coaching and influencing managers at all levels
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
