As we continue to grow, we're looking for a proactive, organised and people-focused HR Co-ordinator to support our site and play a key role within our management team.

Your Mission at Elis: The HR Co-ordinator is the primary on-site contact for all HR activities, supporting employees and managers with first-line HR queries. The role manages the full employee lifecycle, ensures compliance with company policies and employment legislation, and maintains accurate HR and payroll records. The role works closely with the General Manager and Chorley's management team to maintain a safe, fair and consistent working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Support & Compliance: Act as the first point of contact for HR queries including contracts, starters, leavers, shift changes and policy questions. Ensure all HR files and systems are accurate, confidential and compliant with GDPR and Data Protection legislation. Maintain employee records including absence, disciplinary, grievance, training, appraisals and payroll data. Administer Right to Work checks, DBS checks and required documentation. Support annual pay review and bonus administration, including letters and data accuracy. Coordinate induction programmes. Assist with recruitment administration, including arranging interviews and issuing outcome letters.
- Manager Support: Support managers with absence management, Occupational Health referrals and basic employee relations admin. Take notes in meetings when required and ensure documentation is recorded correctly. Provide administrative support for management meetings, H&S committees and site reporting.
- Engagement & Culture: Act as a site 'wellbeing champion,' supporting a positive working environment and fair practices. Gather employee feedback and escalate issues to the General Manager or HR as appropriate. Organise site social events and long-service awards.

- Good knowledge of HR and payroll systems, including time and attendance systems (e.g., Crown).
Education & Experience:
- GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a confidential HR or administrative environment.
- Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and processes.
