Class 2 HGV Driver – Join the Elis Team in Chorley! Drive your career forward with Elis, a leader in laundry and hygiene solutions across the UK and Europe. We’re powered by innovation, teamwork and a commitment to helping our people grow. We’re now looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our Chorley site. Someone who will be a true Service Ambassador, representing our brand with professionalism and a smile.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections across the region
- Loading/unloading cages (manual handling involved)
- Carrying hamper bags, sometimes in buildings without lift access
- Using PDAs to manage routes and delivery records
- Providing friendly, professional customer service at every stop
- Completing daily vehicle checks and basic cleaning
- Maintaining high safety and compliance standards
What You’ll Need
- Full Class 2 (Category C) licence with at least 1 year’s experience
- Valid CPC Tachograph Digi Card
- Knowledge of road transport legislation
