ELIRE is seeking a Finance, Operations & Governance Manager to support the CFO and wider leadership team as we continue to develop and scale the business.

We are an early‑stage developer and vertical integrator focused on solving challenges around power, space and time through innovative infrastructure solutions.

We operate in a fast‑moving environment where no two weeks are the same and where team members are expected to contribute beyond traditional job boundaries.

This role combines elements of finance, operations, governance, grants and business support.

The successful candidate will help ensure the business remains organised, compliant and efficient while also identifying opportunities to improve how we work.

Responsibilities

Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.

Assist with bookkeeping, accounting processes and year‑end accounts preparation.

Support Companies House filings, statutory compliance and corporate governance activities.

Assist with grant applications, grant claims, monitoring and reporting requirements.

Maintain share, equity and cap table records.

Develop and maintain financial models, trackers and dashboards.

Work with colleagues across the business to improve processes and identify efficiencies.

Implement AI and automation tools where appropriate while maintaining appropriate review and ownership controls.

Support investor, partner and customer requests as required.

Help establish scalable systems and processes as the business grows.

What We Are Looking For

Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.

Good financial and commercial awareness.

Experience with Excel and financial modelling.

Comfortable working across multiple priorities and projects.

Interest in AI, automation and process improvement.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.

Positive attitude and willingness to get involved wherever needed.

Experience with grants, accounting, governance, company administration or startups would be beneficial but is not essential.

We recognise that very few people will have experience in every area listed above.

If you have the core skills, a willingness to learn and the right attitude, we would encourage you to apply.

What Makes ELIRE Different

We currently operate on a services‑for‑equity model.

Every member of the team is committed to creating long‑term value and helping the company succeed.

This means working collaboratively, being resourceful and finding solutions even when challenges fall outside your previous experience.

Some tasks will be straightforward.

Others may involve developing entirely new approaches, structures or processes.

That is part of building something new, and we are looking for people who are excited by that opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
