Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a senior designer at Unreal Engine. The Senior Designer will be responsible for projects, roadmaps and tasks with other designers in engineering, 3D Visualisation & architecture related to Unreal Engine design, development, and implementation.
They will collaborate with teams to create high-quality visual content, animations, and interactive experiences using Unreal Engine.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine design and development
- Experience in creating high-quality visual content and animations
- Ability to collaborate with teams on interactive experiences
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and texturing
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Previous experience in virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) projects
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Animation, Game Development, or a related field
Specifics
3D Polygon modeling, preferably in Blender (Maya or 3D max also applies).
Quick modelling of assets and props to use in scenes, interpretation of 2D drawings for buildings and structures.
Visualization skills in Unreal Engine 5.
To create appealing outdoor and indoor scenes. Project optimization, blueprints, landscapes, sequence animation and high-quality static renderings. Integrating real map locations to the scene.
Materials configuration. Realistic motion people interacting with the scene, etc.
Experts in visualization with Blender can also apply.
