Responsibilities:
- Loading and offloading wagons and moving materials around site using appropriate materials handling equipment.
- Ensuring the storage yard is kept clean, tidy and clear of any hazards.
- Implementation of the existing goods inwards procedure, including goods inwards inspection.
- Maintaining accurate computer stock records by effective entry into D365 of all stock movements.
- Effective picking and issuing of components required for the workshop to complete their work orders.
- Interpretation and implementation of packing specifications, effective packing of finished components and appropriate safe loading of vehicles.
- Daily supervision of production cleaning department to ensure both quality and on time performance.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work unsupervised at times.
- Good communicator.
- Good team player.
- Work in a safe & tidy manner.
- Complete tasks promptly so that material movements are recorded on IBS promptly – normally within the same working day.
