Demand for our products and services continues to grow, so we are expanding the Tendering team in our Cornwall office. The focus will be on ensuring costs for reactive Hire, Parts & Service work is captured and quoted alongside assisting the stormwater team with the compilation of quotation documentation. You will have strong administrative and organisational skills and be effective in both written and verbal communication.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist with the delivery of major projects for sustainable water treatment solutions which facilitate healthy rivers, seas and drinking water provision.
• Coordinate inputs from sales, projects, finance and HPS teams.
• Utilising pre-existing pricing frameworks to compile reactive service and maintenance quotations and submit them to clients and/or internal stakeholders on the relevant portal (Ariba, CEMAR, a-site etc).
• Prepare project costing information for quoted works, including labour, plant and materials.
• Assist with the compilation of Stormwater proposal documentation.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely turnaround of documentation and ensure external stakeholders provide sufficient order cover within agreed timeframes.
• Develop a sound working knowledge of the company’s engineering and technology (training will be provided).

Who we’re looking for

• Some previous experience with D365 (training to be provided if required).
• Desirable experience within the water industry or reactive maintenance environments; however relevant experience in other sectors will be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Proficient with MS Office suite, notably Word and Excel; experience with Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management in a collaborative working environment.
• Good time management and prioritisation skills.
