We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Scheduling Administrator to support our Production department. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate scheduling creation within our ERP system and effective scheduling of work throughout the production workflow.
The ideal candidate will be confident using Microsoft Office applications and have previous experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP platforms. You will work closely with the Head of Production and wider operational teams to maintain data accuracy, optimise production schedules, and support the smooth running of day-to-day manufacturing activities.
What you'll be doing:
- Create and maintain daily/weekly production schedules to meet customer demand and internal capacity.
- Monitor workflow and adjust schedules where required to accommodate changes, shortages, or priorities.
- Communicate schedule changes to Production Planner and relevant stakeholders.
- Track progress of jobs and highlight delays, bottlenecks, or issues affecting timelines.
Data & Administration
- Maintain accurate production-related data within the ERP system.
- Generate reports for the Head of Production, including work-in-progress, capacity planning, and material availability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across production and operational processes.
- Ensure documentation and system entries comply with internal standards and audit requirements.
Essential
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when managing data.
- Excellent organisational and timeâmanagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamâworking skills.
Desirable
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Understanding of BOM structures, routings, or manufacturing processes.
