The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.
A Stores Operative will report to Warehouse Supervisor.
Duties will primarily comprise of the loading and offloading of wagons, movement of materials around the site as directed by the materials manager, basic recording of materials movement on D365, or any other tasks as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor.
What you\'ll be doing
- Loading and offloading wagons and moving materials around site using appropriate materials handling equipment.
- Ensuring the storage yard is kept clean, tidy and clear of any hazards.
- Implementation of the existing goods inwards procedure, including goods inwards inspection
- Maintaining accurate computer stock records by effective entry on to D365 of all stock movements.
- Effective picking and issue of components required for the workshop to complete their work orders.
- Interpretation and implementation of packing specifications, effective packing of finished components and appropriate safe loading of vehicles.
- Daily supervision of production cleaning department to ensure both quality and on time performance.
