The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
What you'll be doing:
- Safely off-loading delivered goods using forklift trucks in accordance with site safety rules and manual handling procedures.
- Checking delivery documentation against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Carrying out goods inwards inspection to ensure materials meet quality, quantity, and specification requirements.
- Identifying, recording, and escalating any non-conforming, damaged, or incorrect materials in line with company procedures.
- Accurate and timely receipting of all goods on the ERP system.
- Booking materials into fixed storage locations and maintaining correct labelling and traceability.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards within the goods inwards and storage areas.
- Supporting stock accuracy through correct system transactions and adherence to inventory processes.
- Undertaking warehouse picking activities as required to support production and customer orders.
- Assisting the dispatch function during peak periods including packing, labelling, and loading finished goods.
- Supporting inter-site collections and deliveries between company sites within Cornwall.
