Eliot is currently looking for a Youth Advocatein our Juvenile Justice residential program for court involved youth ages 13 to 21.In this role you will oversee and coordinate staff and youth in the execution of the daily program plan providing comprehensive interventions in a highly structured, self-contained environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily activities for staff and youth
  • Supervise direct care staff ensuring policies are adhered to and expectations are met
  • Ensure safety and security, including security checks
  • Assist in developing and implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
  • Promote teamwork among staff and youth, fostering a supportive environment
  • Help youth identify goals and interests
  • Assign and lead daily group activities
  • Serve as an advocate and role model for youth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
  • At least two years experience with the population
  • Valid Massachusetts driver\’s license
  • Supervisory experience is preferred

Schedule:

  • Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11pm Sunday/Monday Off

Hourly Rate

$22.26 – $22.26 USD
