Overview

Eliot is seeking a Life and Career Coach to join our Juvenile Justice division program for court involved youth ages 13 to 21. This role is vital in supporting youth as they pursue their educational and career goals during residential treatment and community reintegration. The Life and Career Coach will collaborate closely with youth, program staff, and community partners to promote independence, career development, and personal growth. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and compassionate mentor with a strong background in case management, employment development, and life skills training.

Responsibilities

  • Support youth in identifying and achieving education and employment goals.
  • Collaborate with educational providers to align programming with career aspirations.
  • Develop community partnerships and secure internships, jobs, and enrichment opportunities.
  • Provide daily scheduling support and help youth create individualized life plans.
  • Facilitate life skills groups focused on budgeting, nutrition, job readiness, and social-emotional skills.
  • Assist with resume writing, job searches, interview prep, and employment retention.
  • Support transitions to independent living by connecting youth with community resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in career counseling or related field required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in case management or vocational development.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver’s license

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm

Hourly Rate
$23.88 – $23.88 USD
