Eliot is seeking a Relief Counselor to work with adults with Brain Injuries. Our Brain Injury residential programs provide high-quality, innovative programming that help adults with brain injuries enhance their lives, develop skills, and engage in community activities while building supportive relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with tasks of daily living to include personal care, meals and ambulation
- Ensure a safe living environment, providing interventions and assistance to maintain safety
- Support clients in integrating into their communities by utilizing community resources, encouraging memberships, and personal relationships
- Assist clients with medical and physical needs
- Help clients participate in activities, attend medical appointments, and maintain meaningful family and community connections
Qualifications
- Experience working with adults with cognitive, behavioral or developmental issues
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license
- Ability to drive program vehicle in Boston and highways
