Eliot is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Specialist I to join our dynamic Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team. ACCS provides clinically focused evidenced based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community based settings. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to adults facing severe and persistent mental health challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide interventions to clients that focus on problem solving, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement
  • Assist the team in providing on-going assessments of client symptoms and their responses to staff interventions
  • Support clients in their desire for recovery and rehabilitation in the development of their goals
  • Ensure that services provided are culturally competent, strengths based, and focused on rehabilitation and are inclusive of client preferences.
  • Provide assistance to clients related to transportation to work sites, daily activities, and appointments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Experience working with adults with mental illness

Schedule:

  • Sunday 1pm-9pm, Monday, 7am-3pm, Friday 3pm-11pm, Saturday 3pm-11pm (40 hrs)

Hourly Rate

$20.50 - $20.50 USD
