Eliot is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Specialist I to join our dynamic Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team. ACCS provides clinically focused evidence‑based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person‑centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community‑based settings. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to adults facing severe and persistent mental health challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide interventions to clients that focus on problem solving, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement
  • Assist the team in providing on‑going assessments of client symptoms and their responses to staff interventions
  • Support clients in their desire for recovery and rehabilitation in the development of their goals
  • Ensure that services provided are culturally competent, strengths based, and focused on rehabilitation and are inclusive of client preferences.
  • Provide assistance to clients related to transportation to work sites, daily activities, and appointments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Experience working with adults with mental illness

Schedules:

  • Sunday 11am‑7pm, Monday 3pm‑11pm, Friday 8am‑4pm, Saturday 9am‑5pm (32 hours)
  • Sunday 11pm‑9am, Friday 11pm‑9am, Saturday 11pm‑9am (34 hours)

Hourly Rate

$20.50 – $20.50 USD
