Eliot is seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to join our Brain Injury program which provides high-quality, innovative programming to adults with brain injuries to enhance their lives, develop personal skills, and engage in community activities while building supportive relationships.
As a Support Specialist, you will offer an array of restorative skill building activities and support to rebuild communication proficiency, social & behavioral skills, self-help abilities, and management of daily life activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with medical, physical, cognitive, and socioemotional needs in completing daily activities, including personal care, meal prep, cleaning, and leisure
- Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed, promoting independence and personal growth
- Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations and report any significant health, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks and report all maintenance or safety issues to ensure a clean and safe environment
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelorβs degree in Psychology or related field
- Experience working with adults with cognitive, behavioral or developmental issues
- Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
Schedules:
- Sunday-Thursday, 7am-3pm (40 hours)
- Friday-Monday, 7am-3pm (32 hours)
- Friday-Monday, 3pm-11pm (32 hours)
- Friday & Saturday, 7am-3pm (16 hours)
- Friday & Saturday, 3pm-11pm (16 hours)
- Friday & Saturday, 11pm-7am (16 hours)
Hourly Rate: $20.50 - $20.50 USD
