Casual Warehouse Cleaner in Reading

Working Pattern: As And When Required Salary: £13 Per Hour Job ID: 7709 What you’ll be serving up… Ensure all warehouse floors, work areas, staff facilities, toilets, kitchens, break areas and surrounding spaces are cleaned and maintained in line with cleaning schedules, client standards and Elior UK procedures. Carry out sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dust removal, waste collection and bin emptying to maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment. Follow all COSHH, Health & Safety and site safety procedures, reporting spills, hazards, damage, accidents or maintenance issues in line with company processes. Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly, ensuring equipment and cleaning supplies are kept organised and reporting any faults or maintenance requirements promptly. Handle customer and site queries professionally, maintaining client and Elior UK confidentiality, security and professional standards at all times. Support the wider team with additional cleaning duties as required and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse environment. The ingredients you'll bring... Experience within a cleaning, warehouse or similar environment is desirable but not essential. Experience using an EPT (Electric Pallet Truck) is advantageous. Warm, friendly and genuine with excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude. Reliable, punctual and adaptable, with the flexibility to work casual hours and follow Elior UK procedures and site requirements. Able to work independently and as part of a team, building positive relationships with colleagues and customers. Methodical, thorough and detail-focused, with the persistence to see tasks through to completion. Physically fit and comfortable working within a warehouse environment.
