Culinary & Service Delivery
- Plan, prepare, and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals in line with agreed menus and standards.
- Cater for both private resident dining and community café service.
- Ensure all food is presented to a high standard, meeting dietary and nutritional requirements.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance with all relevant legislation.
Operational Management
- Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen independently.
- Demonstrate strong organisation and time management skills while working autonomously.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, stock rotation, and kitchen procedures.
Financial Accountability
- Complete regular stock takes and manage ordering efficiently.
- Be accountable for site finances, including daily and weekly cash reporting.
- Managing cash transactions accurately.
- Cost control and waste management.
Customer & Client Engagement
- Build strong, positive relationships with residents, visitors, and the client.
- Deliver a warm, engaging, and personable service, creating a welcoming dining experience.
- Act as an ambassador for the service, recognising that personality and relationship-building are key to success in this role.
