Working Pattern: Monday to Friday | 37.5 Hours Per Week | Field Based Salary: £32,000 Job ID: 7754 What you’ll be serving up… Writing medical diet menus for children across primary and SEND school sites. Working closely with our Development Chefs to develop suitable medical diet recipes. Liaising with parents, healthcare professionals and schools regarding children requiring medical diets. Supporting our Marketing team with nutrition fact sheets, presentations and customer-facing content. Supporting the Dietitian with projects including menu coding to highlight nutritional benefits. Providing nutritional support to our Education operations teams via email, phone and site visits when required. Delivering added-value activities in schools, including interactive healthy eating presentations and pop-ups. Attending parents’ evenings and open days when required. Working as part of our wider nutrition community, sharing best practice and contributing to projects and ongoing professional development. The ingredients you’ll bring… A minimum BSc degree in Nutrition. Knowledge of food allergies and intolerances. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent IT skills and confidence managing busy inboxes. The ability to keep up to date with current research and relevant legislation. Experience using a menu management system would be desirable, but isn’t essential. A genuine interest in supporting children and helping schools provide safe, suitable and nutritious food.
