This role sits within our Education division – catering for students. What you\’ll be doing…

As a Chef/Cook you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team. Barnsley Academy is a secondary school therefore you will be supported by our Catering Manager with the kitchen operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the food is to the highest standard
  • Ensure the kitchen and service area are always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked
  • Keep up to date with menus and what food is on offer
  • Offer a warm and friendly service
  • Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety are followed
  • Elior is committed to safeguarding children and colleagues. Candidates that are shortlisted for this role, will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and two suitable references.

    Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, hours between 8:00am – 3:00pm, 32.5 hours per week, term time only
