At Elior, we’re seeking a proactive and meticulous Payroll Specialist to join our friendly and supportive team in Macclesfield. You\’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for approximately 10,000 colleagues across our organisation. In this role, you\’ll help with various tasks like uploading timesheets, processing SSP, SMP, SPPB, and third-party payments, generating BACS files, handling expenses, and integrating labour costs into the accounts system. You\’ll also deal with HMRC queries, auto-enrolment pensions, and term-time pay calculations. This is a fixed-term contract until September 2026. What you’ll be doing… As a Payroll Specialist , you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies. You will manage payroll data, resolve employee queries, and work closely with HR and finance teams to support payroll operations and reporting. Process payroll accurately and on time, including salary payments, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments Maintain and update payroll records, including starters, leavers, and changes to employee details Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management promptly and professionally Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end payroll activities Liaise with payroll providers, pension administrators, and other third parties as necessary Support payroll audits and process improvements Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security in line with GDPR and company policies Working pattern: Monday – Friday (Hybrid) What can you bring?
