What you’ll be doing…
- As a Mobile Catering Assistant, you will support the delivery of high-quality food and customer service across various mobile catering units or sites.
- Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll help prepare and serve food and beverages, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure a friendly and efficient experience for all customers.
- This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that requires flexibility, teamwork, and a can-do attitude.
- Assist with the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and drink items.
- Travel between designated sites or events to support mobile catering operations.
- Provide excellent customer service, taking orders, handling payments, and answering queries.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in line with regulations.
- Help with the set-up and close-down of mobile units, including restocking and cleaning duties.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any issues to the manager.
- Support promotional activities and seasonal menu changes as directed.
- Ensure all waste is managed responsibly and recycling procedures are followed.

- Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or customer service role is desirable.
- A friendly and professional approach, with strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexibly and travel to different locations as part of a mobile team.
- Basic food hygiene knowledge or certification (training can be provided).
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to cleanliness and detail.
- A full UK driving licence may be required depending on the role.
