Elior – A Workplace That Works for You

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support our business needs. You’ll ensure applications are secure, scalable, and efficient while collaborating with stakeholders and agile teams to continuously improve systems, tools, and workflows.

Our Macclesfield office is more than just a place to work - it’s a space to grow, connect, and thrive. With fantastic food, a supportive culture, and development opportunities, we make sure you feel valued every day.

An exciting opportunity to get immersed from day one: during your first 2–3 months, you’ll enjoy biweekly, fully expensed travel to Paris, working closely with international teams for hands‑on training, collaboration, and knowledge sharing - with additional ad hoc, fully covered travel opportunities as projects evolve.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions.
  • Write secure, performant, and maintainable code in line with best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver projects.
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
  • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Advocate continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

What can you bring?

  • 5+ years commercial .NET experience and strong Angular/TypeScript skills.
  • Experience building cloud-native solutions on Azure and working with service-oriented architectures.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with clean architecture / DDD.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD), MediatR, and CQRS patterns.
  • Scrum experience: sprint planning, stand‑ups, and backlog management.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, code quality, and collaborative problem‑solving.
  • AI or machine learning experience.
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps.
