We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team from our Macclesfield office on a hybrid working basis – after initial training. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing payroll data, and supporting HR and finance teams with reporting and compliance.
What you’ll be doing
- Process payroll accurately and on time, including salary payments, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including starters, leavers, and changes to employee details.
- Respond to payroll‑related queries from employees and management promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with month‑end and year‑end payroll activities.
- Liaise with payroll providers, pension administrators, and other third parties as necessary.
- Support payroll audits and process improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security in line with GDPR and company policies.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday | 37.5 hours a week | Hybrid working
