We are looking for a proactive and passionate Safety Manager to lead the charge in creating a safe, healthy workplace at Elior UK. You will manage and drive our safety programme across the business, collaborating with teams at all levels to make safety a top priority. You will also play a key role in designing, deploying, and monitoring our food and health safety standards. Alongside the Safety and Wellbeing team, you will empower people and ensure effective processes are in place to support a strong safety performance.
What you will be doing:
- Developing and driving health and safety initiatives across the business.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure success.
- Challenging yourself and others to foster continuous improvement in safety standards.
- Communicating food safety processes effectively to influence and guide teams.
- Managing multiple projects and adapting to new initiatives as they arise.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Applying your food safety expertise within the hospitality, food service, or other high-risk sectors.
- Overseeing incident reporting and investigations, ensuring thorough documentation.
- Leading food safety training sessions to educate and inform staff.
- Traveling to locations across the UK, supporting safety efforts at various events.
What You Can Bring:
- Experience in managing safety at large venues or stadiums is a must!
- Strong expertise in Health & Safety Management, Risk Assessment, and Accident Investigation.
- IOSH and NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) qualifications.
- A compliance-driven, organised approach with the ability to self-manage.
- Experience in auditing, food safety inspections, and training delivery.
- Excellent IT skills and a commitment to integrity.
- A proactive mindset, challenging unsafe behaviour and following procedures.
- Passion, responsibility, and a dedication to taking ownership and delivering excellence.
- You have experience with ISO Auditing and Environmental Management.
- Hold an Advanced Food Hygiene qualification or significant relevant experience.
- Train the Trainer certification and experience.
- Adaptability and self-motivation in dynamic environments.
- Leadership experience in inspiring and driving HSE performance across teams.
