What you’ll be doing… As an Events Operations Manager you will proactively manage teams on site as well as be accountable for recruiting, inducting, training and supporting colleagues to deliver an efficient, high quality service to Elior UK, our customer and clients. You will work between Paisley Town Hall and Kilmardinny House being the operational manager in absence of the GM. As our events operations manager we are looking for someone who is equally comfortable on the floor doing a wedding, running a funeral or a busy bar before a comedy show who can also transition to doing a sales show round to secure future business.
- Motivating and managing all FOH team, including the events and bar teams.
- Delivering outstanding events and having fun while doing it.
- Controlling and managing a budget creating a platform for financial growth.
- Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
- Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
- Delivering high quality events from conception, sales through to seamless execution.
- Communicating to all guests in a timely manner via email, telephone and via events meetings.
- Following our sales pipeline and sales process to deliver targeted sales.
Working Pattern: 5 days from 7 according to event requirements. 40 hours per week across 2 venues - overtime paid.
