Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium is one of Scotland's most iconic venues, hosting a wide range of conferences, exhibitions, dinners, and corporate events. We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Executive to help grow our non-matchday business by converting enquiries into confirmed events and proactively generating new opportunities.

This role is ideal for a confident salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by hitting and exceeding targets.

What you’ll be doing...

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound conference and event enquiries
  • Proactively generate new business through outbound sales, networking, and client outreach
  • Conduct clients show rounds and venue tours, showcasing the stadium's event spaces and capabilities
  • Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and contracts to meet client needs
  • Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve individual and team revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agents, and key stakeholders
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional services such as catering, AV, branding, and accommodation
  • Ensure a smooth handover of confirmed events to the planning and operations teams
  • Accurately record all activity in the CRM system
  • Maintain up-to-date pipelines, forecasts, and sales reports
  • Keep strong knowledge of competitor venues and market trends
