Lead the Matchday Experience
We're looking for experienced and motivated Matchday Duty Managers to join our operations team at Easter Road Stadium. This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for overseeing hospitality, catering, and premium bar operations across the stadium during Hibernian FC matchdays and a variety of events throughout the year. You'll play a key role in ensuring our guests, supporters, and hospitality clients receive an exceptional experience while maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and operational excellence.
Working closely with the Hospitality Manager, Bar & Cellar Coordinator, Supervisors, and front‐line teams, you'll lead from the front, support operational delivery, and ensure all areas run smoothly throughout the event lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing
- Taking responsibility for the smooth operation of hospitality, catering, and premium bar areas during matchdays and events.
- Leading pre‐event briefings and ensuring teams are prepared, motivated, and ready for service.
- Managing Supervisors and front‐line staff while maintaining high standards of customer service and guest experience.
- Acting as a key point of contact for managers, clients, and operational teams throughout events.
- Monitoring service standards, resolving operational issues, and ensuring all areas remain fully staffed, stocked, and event‐ready.
- Supporting the delivery of hospitality lounges, executive suites, conferences, meetings, dinners, private functions, and other premium event spaces.
- Working closely with the Bar & Cellar Coordinator to manage stock levels, replenishment requirements, and operational readiness.
- Assisting with venue setup, room preparation, opening and closing procedures, and overall event delivery.
- Leading by example, supporting staff deployment, and providing guidance and coaching to Supervisors and team members.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, licensing requirements, food safety standards, allergen management processes, and health & safety regulations.
- Conducting venue checks before, during, and after events to ensure all guest‐facing and back‐of‐house areas remain safe, clean, compliant, and operational.
- Supporting incident reporting, completing compliance documentation, and ensuring all operational checklists are completed accurately.
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory or management experience within hospitality, catering, events, stadia, or licensed venues.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Experience working in fast‐paced, high‐volume environments.
- Good understanding of food safety, allergen awareness, licensing, and health & safety requirements.
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Strong problem‐solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
