As a Conference & Events Duty Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences across conferences, VIP occasions, and major events at one of Scotland’s most recognisable venues.

Although this is a casual, hourly-paid role, there are plenty of hours available, making this a fantastic opportunity for those looking for flexibility while still enjoying regular event work. You’ll lead from the front in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of operations, inspiring teams, and ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish. From leading teams on shift to supporting high-profile clients, you’ll be trusted to create seamless experiences and maintain the high standards Murrayfield Stadium is known for.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Leading and inspiring teams on shift – briefing, supporting, and coaching FOH teams to deliver outstanding service.
  • Taking ownership of event operations – managing the flow of service, timings, standards, and overall guest experience.
  • Creating memorable client experiences – acting as the main point of contact, welcoming clients, and ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
  • Preparing events for success – overseeing room setups, checking details, managing equipment and stock, and ensuring spaces are ready to impress.
  • Keeping everything running smoothly – coordinating communications, resolving challenges quickly, and making confident decisions under pressure.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards – completing checks, ensuring compliance, managing paperwork, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Delivering high-profile events – independently managing conferences, VIP experiences, and major occasions with professionalism and attention to detail.

Working Pattern: This is a casual, hourly-paid role offering flexible working patterns. While hours are not guaranteed, there are plenty of hours available across our busy events calendar, and we are ideally looking for candidates who can offer strong availability.
