We are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accounts Manager to join our team in our Macclesfield office under a hybrid working arrangement. In this role, you will support the management accounts team by preparing accurate financial information to aid business decision‑making, assisting in producing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, helping to drive financial performance and control.

Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and detailed variance analysis
- Support the month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision‑making
- Assist in maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting policies
- Help coordinate audits and respond to audit queries
- Support and mentor junior finance team members
- Experience in management accounting or financial reporting
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) desirable
- Proactive attitude and attention to detail
