We’re on the hunt for a proactive and organised Assistant Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team!
- Capex Register Management: Maintain and update the Capex register, track expenditures, ensure proper asset capitalization, and reconcile balances with the general ledger.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing financial reports, ensuring accuracy in statements, and conducting variance analysis.
- Month-End & Year-End Closing: Support closing processes with a focus on capital items, manage reconciliations, and assist with audits.
- Compliance & Regulatory Reporting: Ensure adherence to internal policies, tax laws, and accounting standards while preparing regulatory data. Support audit processes by addressing auditor queries and providing required documentation.
- General Administrative Support: Maintain organized financial records and provide administrative assistance to the finance team.
In this role, you will keep our financial records in top shape, play an important role with month-end reporting, and manage our capital expenditure register. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel in juggling multiple tasks, and have a solid grasp of financial principles, we’d love to hear from you!
ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified with 2+ years of financial experience (preferably in a similar industry). Proficient in SAP and Excel (Pivot, VLookups, data manipulation). Strong understanding of accounting principles, capex management, and asset tracking. Detail-oriented with analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and in a team with effective communication skills. Knowledge of statutory financial statements, tax regulations, and compliance is a plus. Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
