We're looking for a dynamic, results-driven sales professional to lead proactive business development, build strong client relationships, and convert high-value enquiries into confirmed bookings. In this role, you'll champion our unique, nature-led event spaces to corporate clients, charities, and private buyers, positioning the Wetland Centre as London's premier destination for standout conferences, meetings, and celebrations. Responsibilities
- Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, and market development
- Respond to and convert inbound enquiries into confirmed event bookings
- Conduct venue tours and sales presentations
- Develop strong relationships with corporate bookers, agencies, local businesses & community organisations
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to raise venue awareness
- Manage CRM pipeline and provide sales reporting
- Work closely with on-site operations and catering teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Achieve and exceed agreed revenue and activity targets
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday | 40 Hours Per Week
Requirements / Qualifications
- Proven experience in venue, events, hospitality, or hotel sales
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
- Confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly proactive, self-driven, target oriented
- Experience managing a sales pipeline
