As an Airport Lounge Hospitality Supervisor at Leeds Bradford Airport, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience within a fast‑paced lounge environment, welcoming and assisting hundreds of passengers daily, including weekends and peak travel periods.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising the day‑to‑day operation of the airport lounges to ensure outstanding guest service at all times.
- Working flexibly across operational hours between 3:00 am and 8:30 pm during summer months, and 3:00 am to 5:00 pm during winter months.
- Responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly, professionally, and courteously.
- Maintaining the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and organisation across all front‑of‑house areas and equipment.
- Demonstrating excellent knowledge of lounge menus, beverages, and wine offerings to support the guest experience.
- Liaising closely with the kitchen team and conducting team briefings to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
- Acting as the first point of contact for all hospitality‑related matters within the lounge.
- Ensuring compliance with COSHH, food safety, and health & safety regulations, while completing all mandatory training requirements.
- Supporting the Contract Manager with hospitality bookings, stock control, and monthly administrative/bookkeeping processes.
Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7, including weekends and early morning shifts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a hospitality, catering, or food service environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering excellent front‑line hospitality.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and remain organised in a busy environment.
- Previous supervisory experience within catering or hospitality is desirable.
- A professional, positive, and team‑focused approach to work.
Due to security checks required for this role, all candidates will be subject to a basic criminal record check and must be able to provide a continuous five‑year checkable work history with verified gaps in employment.
