All candidates selected for this role must have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including the Children’s Barred List, and two suitable references.
Responsibilities
- Create and oversee the delivery of up to 100 meals per day, supporting our students’ focus, energy and wellbeing.
- Supervise and support a catering team of three.
- Set the standard for quality, consistency and presentation across every meal.
- Champion high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness, creating a safe and well‑organised environment.
- Manage stock, deliveries and day‑to‑day catering operations behind the scenes.
Working Pattern
Monday – Friday, 30 hours per week, term‑time only.
Pay
£13.99 per hour (approximately £18,298.92 per annum).

Qualifications
- Experience in a similar catering or kitchen role, with confidence supporting and supervising a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive during fast‑paced service periods.
- A natural ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
- Solid understanding of food hygiene, safety and compliance standards.
- Proactive, hands‑on approach with a passion for delivering quality food and service.
