We are supporting a globally recognised, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in their search for an experienced Security Design Engineer to join their expanding security team. This role offers an opportunity to move into true front-end design consultancy, working on high-profile projects across the UK and internationally. The position can be aligned to either the London or Bath office with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

The role:
As a Security Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and specification of security systems within the built environment. This will include:
- Designing and specifying CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection systems
- Producing detailed technical specifications and design reports
- Coordinating engineering delivery across multi-disciplinary project teams
- Attending client and design team meetings
- Managing projects and resources where appropriate
- Contributing to the development of internal standards and best practice
- Supporting bids and proposals where required
This is a consultancy-led role focused on design, strategy and project delivery rather than installation or reactive site work.
About you:
You will ideally have:
- Experience designing security systems within the built environment
- Background from an integrator or consultancy environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks
- Experience authoring technical security specifications
