Apex Digital Infrastructure is a leading technology solutions provider delivering complex data centre, security, and infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Data Centre Project Manager to join our expanding delivery team.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale data centre projects from mobilisation through to completion. You will work closely with clients, engineering teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and experience managing complex infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of data centre infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate internal engineering teams and external contractors.
  • Manage client relationships and provide regular project updates.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
  • Support commercial reporting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Lead project meetings and stakeholder reviews.
  • Ensure successful handover and project completion.

Requirements Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience managing data centre, critical infrastructure, or technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of structured cabling, security systems, networking, or electrical/mechanical infrastructure.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within hyperscale or colocation data centres.
  • PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients.
  • Knowledge of security, access control, or BMS systems.
