The Role
As Quality Assistant, you\’ll support the ongoing development and maintenance of the company\’s ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System, ensuring high standards are maintained across all operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements
- Assisting with internal, supplier, and external audits, including tracking and closing out non-conformances
- Monitoring and improving supplier performance, managing corrective actions and ongoing communication
- Supporting quality initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, and operational teams
- Maintaining quality metrics, KPIs, and reports to drive continuous improvement
- Conducting root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and 8D
- Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance within ERP and quality systems
What We\’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years\’ experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Systems role
- Background within manufacturing, electrical, or engineering environments
- Practical experience working with ISO 9001 (knowledge of ISO 14001 is beneficial)
- Strong understanding of corrective actions, root cause analysis, and supplier quality
- Confident communicator, able to work with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
- Comfortable using ERP systems and maintaining accurate quality documentation
- Proactive, detail-focused, and genuinely interested in continuous improvement
