A specialist engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Data Centre Telecoms & Network Design Consultant to support large-scale infrastructure programmes across EMEA.
This role sits within a high-performance engineering delivery function providing design assurance, architecture support, and technical validation across complex data centre and cloud-integrated environments, including next-generation compute and AI infrastructure.
You will work alongside senior engineering stakeholders, design authorities, and delivery teams to ensure infrastructure designs meet stringent standards for performance, resilience, scalability, and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Data Centre & Network Design Assurance
- Conduct technical reviews of data centre network and telecoms designs across full project lifecycle (concept, detailed design, construction, commissioning)
- Assess and validate spine-leaf, EVPN/VXLAN, and high-performance fabric architectures
- Review cluster and compute fabric layouts for high-density workloads and AI/GPU environments
- Identify design risks, non-compliance, and scalability limitations
- Provide independent engineering assurance across telecoms and infrastructure projects
