What if your electrical expertise could power the next generation of low-carbon digital infrastructure? We’re supporting a sustainability-led data centre operator expanding across Finland. As Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing, optimising and maintaining the electrical infrastructure that keeps mission-critical facilities running 24/7, while helping reduce environmental impact.
This is more than a maintenance role. You’ll be a technical authority across high-voltage and low-voltage systems, ensuring maximum uptime, resilience and efficiency in a state-of-the-art data centre environment.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Lead electrical engineering activities across critical infrastructure
- Oversee and optimise UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers and power distribution systems
- Support commissioning, testing and energisation of new installations
- Drive reliability improvements and preventative maintenance strategies
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
- Contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer or Data Centre Electrical Engineer
- Strong background in HV/LV systems, critical power and building services engineering
- Experience within mission-critical environments (data centres, pharma, industrial, utilities)
- Knowledge of electrical calculations, fault analysis and power system studies
- Familiarity with CMMS and asset lifecycle management
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
