The Role & Responsibilities
This isnât your standard social media job. Weâre looking for a digital renegade with a sixth sense for trends, a killer creative instinct, and the guts to challenge the norm. Youâll take charge of our social presence globally, focusing on the US and UK, working closely with our global marketing team to execute a socialâfirst strategy that drives relevance, reach, and radical engagement. You wonât just âpost and hope.â Youâll own the algorithm, hijack trends before they peak, and turn scrolls into sales.
What Youâll Do
- Lead the endâtoâend social strategy and dayâtoâday channel management for Bed Head across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms (US & UK focus)
- Create a content plan that stops thumbs and gets shared
- You wonât just write copy. Youâll create the content (planning, shooting, captioning) that will shape conversations, drive clicks, and champion creativity.
- Own and activate the brandâs social content calendar.
- Analyse data, break the algorithm, and rebuild it in our image on a testâandâlearn streak.
- Collaborate with creators, hair stylists, disruptors, and rebels to amplify our voice.
- Set the tone for a brand that builds a community of likeminded people.
- Turn trends into campaigns and memes into movement.
- Be a bridge between culture and commerce with our key beauty retailers.
- Build and manage a community of likeâminded hair lovers across the world.
Marketing
- Work crossâfunctionally with key stakeholders (e.g. creative and media agencies, marketing, commercial, CMI) to ensure projects are delivered on time and effectively
- Monitor benchmarks for measuring impact of social programmes & analyse effectiveness to maximise results
- Monitor and report on social budgets and KPIs
- In partnership with Head of Brand in US and UK, manage the overarching marketing calendar to drive alignment across global markets
Skills & Experience
- A socialâfirst content assassin with 4+ years of experience (agency or brand)
- Deep understanding of Gen Z, digital culture, and what makes TikTok tick
- Obsessed with shortâform video and native storytelling
- Extremely Creative â but data fluent. You know what works and why.
- Youâre not just good with people â youâre great with planning â you know your way around social planning tools.
- Has a global mindset and can work across time zones.
- Comfortable moving fast, making bold calls, and owning the outcome.
- Have Bag, will Travel for IRL events (up to 20% of the time)
