Role & Responsibilities:
- We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious intern who wants to learn and deep dive into all aspects of marketing.
- You will have the fantastic opportunity to contribute to the new product development for either the hair or fragrance category, work with agencies to create new campaigns for product launches and ensure excellent execution across retailers.
- Report into the Brand Manager, you will work together to be the market and consumer trends experts, leading innovation planning and execution, as well as supporting on marketing campaigns.
- This will be a busy and dynamic environment where you will be expected to work collectively with teams across the business to unlock the power of our brands for both consumers and the customer.
- Work closely with stakeholders to drive growth, particularly with commercial, R&D, finance, and supply chain teams as well as external partners.
- Support the marketing team by analysing consumer insights, brand performance and competitive/market landscape on a monthly basis.
- Contributing to the innovation roadmap: Together with the Brand Manager, identify product gaps and opportunities, or upgrades that can drive brand or profit growth.
- Opportunity to work on exciting campaigns from the get-go, involved in the entire process from media briefing and creative development to influencer activation for hair and fragrance brands.
- Act as the main point of contact for an external social agency, reviewing and approving weekly/monthly content calendars, copy, and creative assets.
What We’re Looking For:
- This is a one-year internship and the main requirement is a passion for learning and marketing.
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer insights and how they inform marketing planning/strategies and execution.
- An ability to prioritise and organise work across projects in a busy, dynamic working environment.
- Analytical capability and eagerness to learn with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work with people across different functions and with different working styles.
- Base understanding of how the P&L is structured.
- Confidence in presenting to internal/external audiences.
- Experience working on beauty or personal care brands will be an advantage but not a necessity.
