Manpower are currently seeking an interim Demand Planner to work with our global FMCG client, Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as TIGI, VO5, Toni & Guy, and Brylcreem, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment. The position is based in Holborn, London. This is a full-time temporary role for 12 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £35,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience. The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- The Demand Planner for TIGI Brands will be the lead for UK forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning processes and a key influencer for coordinating growth delivery in the market.
- You will lead discussions and gather the inputs of key business activities over the next 12 months and support cross functional alignment towards both tactical and strategic business objectives.
- This role will report to the Demand Planning Lead for TIGI Brands and collaborate with Commercial, Finance & Marketing.
Your Key Tasks
- E2E execution of Demand Plans for TIGI Brands in UKI & Export Markets in line with business plan & customer JBP.
- Collaborative “bottom up” volume forecasting across base, activity and innovation planning over a 12 month horizon, targeting improved forecast accuracy that supports both high customer service levels and a reduction of finished goods inventory.
- Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning DRM process for your customers, working with key departments to ensure alignment and delivery of the plan.
- Monitor forecast bias & accuracy reporting to deliver agreed service levels.
- Responsible for delivering excellent service to all our customers both internal and external.
- Support process hygiene and lead technology transformation where relevant; mainly in the development and continuous improvement of processes and technology transformation of new tools and ERP systems.
Required Skills
- Strong planning knowledge and background with understanding of financial and business acumen.
- Experience working with statistical forecasting, operational experience of planning systems such as Kinaxis.
- Working collaboratively across teams, ideally cross-country & virtual teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to analyse complex data sets, create strategic recommendations.
