Manpower are currently seeking an interim Demand Planning Manager to work with our global FMCG client, Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as TIGI, VO5, Toni & Guy, and Brylcreem, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Holborn, London. This is a full-time temporary role for 12 Months, with possible extension, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to Ā£48,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.
Due to the urgency of the role, candidates must be available immediately, or have no more than 2 weeksā notice period

Your Role & Responsibilities
The Demand Planning Manager for UKI will be the lead for all forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning processes and a key influencer for coordinating growth delivery in the market. You will lead discussions and gather the inputs of key business activities over the next 12-18 months and support cross functional alignment towards both tactical and strategic business objectives. This role will report to the SC Lead for UKI and collaborate with Commercial, Finance & Marketing.
Your Key Tasks:
ā¢E2E execution of Demand Plan for UKI in line with business plan & customer JBP.
ā¢Collaborative ābottom upā volume forecasting across base, activity and innovation planning over a 12ā18-month horizon. Targeting improved forecast accuracy that supports both high customer service levels and a reduction of finished goods inventory.
ā¢Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process working with key departments to ensure alignment and delivery of the plan.
ā¢Monitor forecast bias & accuracy reporting to deliver agreed service levels.
ā¢Assist the SC Lead UKI with the development, maintenance, and delivery of KPI dashboards and reporting to communicate with the leadership team.
ā¢Responsible for delivering excellent service to all our customers both internal and external.
ā¢ Support process hygiene and lead technology transformation where relevant; mainly in the development and continuous improvement of processes and technology transformation of new tools and ERP systems.
Required Skills:
- Fluent in English
- Strong planning knowledge and background with understanding of financial and business acumen
- Experience working with statistical forecasting, operational experience of planning systems such as Kinaxis.
- Working collaboratively across teams, ideally cross-country & virtual teams
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to analyse complex data sets, create strategic recommendations.

What Youāll Need to Succeed
- At least 3 years prior experience in a similar role in a supply chain or manufacturing environment. Strong experience within demand planning is preferable.
- FMCG background a MUST
- A proven track record in leadership
- Project management skills
