Help eLID Hub CIC rebuild! After a security breach, we need a skilled WordPress/HTML developer to create a secure, professional new home for our mission. If you have passion for DEI and have the technical expertise to build a robust site from scratch, we’d love your help to get back online.
What difference will you make? Our website is the "front door" to eLID Hub. Without it, the underrepresented groups we serve cannot find our bootcamps, and potential partners cannot verify our impact. By rebuilding our site, you are directly restoring our voice and our ability to bridge the experience gap. You are providing us with a secure, professional platform that will allow us to scale and recruit the very board members and interns we need to grow.
What are we looking for? We are looking for a skilled WordPress/HTML Developer who enjoys working with clear technical requirements. As the Founder, I built and managed our original site; however, as eLID Hub scales, my focus has shifted to strategic growth, partnership development, and board recruitment. I am looking for a developer to take full ownership of the technical execution so I can focus on these broader organizational milestones.
- Form & Data Management: Experience setting up secure registration forms and managing user-submitted data.
- WordPress Customization: Proficiency in configuring blogs and contact integrations without compromising site speed.
- Strategic Partner: You are comfortable working with a founder who provides the roadmap but expects you to drive the technical execution.
- Technical Ownership: Strong proficiency in WordPress core, HTML5, and CSS3, with the ability to lead the rebuild independently.
- Security & Hardening: Expertise in building secure environments (SSL, firewalls, and malware prevention) to ensure our new platform is resilient.
- Efficient Development: Ability to build a lightweight, responsive site without over-reliance on bloated plugins.
The Kind of Person We Are Looking For: You appreciate a founder who "speaks your language" but respects your creative and technical autonomy. I provide the strategic vision and technical context, but I am looking for an expert who wants to take the lead on the rebuild. There is no micromanagement here—just a clear, collaborative exchange between two technical minds.
Remote
What will you be doing? We are looking for a proactive Developer to lead the technical rebuild of our organization’s website. While I (the Founder) am technical and built the original site, I am now focusing on strategic scaling and need a partner to take ownership of the following Key Tasks:
- Secure WordPress/HTML Rebuild: Create a lightweight, secure, and responsive site from scratch.
- Lead Generation & Contact: Build integrated Contact Forms to streamline inquiries from partners and the community.
- Student Registration: Develop a secure Registration Portal/Form for our bootcamp and workshop applicants.
- Blog & Content Hub: Set up a clean, easy-to-manage Blog section for our news and DEI insights.
- Security Hardening: Implement industry-standard security (SSL, firewalls, and login protection) to ensure long-term resilience.
- Technical SEO: Ensure the new structure is optimized for search and speed.
- Handover: Provide basic training or documentation so the team can update content safely.
