Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children.
- Plan and deliver engaging and educational activities that promote language development in both English and French.
- Assess and monitor children’s progress, providing regular feedback to parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement the nursery's curriculum and policies.
- Support children’s emotional and social development by fostering positive relationships and behaviour.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for children.
- Keep accurate records of children’s progress and development, sharing insights with parents and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Fluency in French and strong communication skills in English.
- Experience in a nursery or early years setting, particularly with bilingual children.
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning activities for young children.
