Responsibilities
- Provide scientific leadership to project teams to support the selection of the right target, molecule, dose, patient population, and development strategies.
- Develop and execute modeling strategies, contribute to project team discussions, and guide decisions with quantitative approaches into drug discovery and/or development.
- Knowledge and expertise advancing and implementing PBPK model-informed approaches in drug discovery, development and regulatory submissions.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, including demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
- Direct experience using relevant software such as Simcyp, PK-Sim, GastroPlus, etc.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics, Pharmacology or a related discipline and at least 5+ years of relevant work experience with physiologically based pharmacokinetic modeling in the pharmaceutical industry or contract research organization.
- Additional Skills/Preferences: Adept at working with cross-functional colleagues; Excellent self-management and organizational skills.
