As a full stack engineer you will bring your technical experience to design and build applications that exceed product goals. With an approach that accepts failure, and the ability to work in ambiguity, you will use your object-oriented development principles to reach creative product solutions to deliver on time. By maximizing your development experience, you will ensure the applications achieve optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness. Using your problem-solving skills, you will strive to quickly identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs for optimal user experience. With an attention to detail and proactivity you will seek to maintain existing applications via debugging and continuous updates, ensuring code quality, organization, and automation. As a superb communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you will work and collaborate effectively on a team including with remote team members, to define, design and ship new features. With an elevated level of curiosity and bigger picture thinking, you will conduct external research and innovation to evolve existing and create innovative solutions. As a DevOps team member, you will help troubleshoot and resolve critical production incidents with potential to prevent material shipment and consultation during complex technical root cause investigations.
Responsibilities
- Design and build applications that meet product goals, with emphasis on performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with team members (including remote) to define, design and ship new features.
- Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve user experience; maintain existing applications with debugging and continuous updates.
- Conduct external research and innovation to evolve solutions.
- Assist in troubleshooting production incidents and participate in root cause investigations.
Qualifications
- Experience with designing and developing scalable and secure web applications, adhering to coding practices and standards.
- Front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript; responsive UX across devices.
- Server-side logic and database design using Node.js, Python, or other relevant frameworks.
- API and web service integration.
- Code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to fix defects and performance issues.
- Unit testing, profiling, and tuning of front-end and back-end components.
- Experience collaborating with DevOps to ensure CI/CD processes.
- Agile software development experience with portfolio of projects.
- Knowledge of information security and vulnerability risk management; ITIL/cGxP QA methods.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship expected.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; 1-3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer or similar.
- Proficiency with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, or equivalents; relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS and/or Azure).
