What You’ll Do:
The NTA is a customer facing, field-based role, reporting into the Gastroenterology Brand Leader which requires close collaboration with wider cross-functional team both in the office and the field. As part of your responsibilities, you will proactively establish and nurture strong relationships with thought leaders and professional organisations, delivering impactful solutions to support Lilly’s gastroenterology objectives and drive improved patient outcomes across the UK.
- Knowledge & expertise:
- Customer Influence: Acquires and maintains up-to-date knowledge of disease, products, competitors, and patient support materials to support sales and marketing. Collaborates with Medical to deliver relevant data to customers. Connects Leaders with HCPs to facilitate knowledge sharing. Working cross functionally to share disease and product information. Builds strong relationships with professional organisations and key influencers.
- Customer Interaction & Management: Engages customers using effective access techniques and product positioning. Finds opportunities to add brand value, defining target patient groups for our brands. Understands influence of Leaders in the disease area. Drives multi-channel communications with Leaders With Vision. Uses customer feedback to refine brand strategy.
- Customer & Project Management: Builds on National Business Strategy to create a Business Plan relevant to the Leader programme. Uses the Business Planning process to create a specific plan strategy for designated Leaders. Proficiently manages multiple projects delivering desired outcomes on time. Delivers on agreed Brand projects and meetings.
- Build & Sustain Partnerships: Establishes and sustains robust relationships with Leaders, Lilly colleagues, and key influencers by demonstrating cross-functional collaboration and actively integrating customer feedback. Proactively tracks external developments in healthcare and stakeholder networks, strategically incorporating these insights into future Leader engagements and business planning.
- Meeting Management: Organises commercial presence at major National and International meetings & congresses. Works in collaboration with Medical to develop speaker training if relevant to brand strategy. Be an active member of internal field team meetings (management and regional meetings) bringing forth education, discussion material, collecting input, managing projects with sales team if relevant to allocated brand. Seeks appropriate opportunities at Meetings and Congresses e.g. Symposia and Brand feedback thereby maximising the image of Lilly and its Brands. Post meeting event amalgamation & interpretation of evaluation results. Creating feedback loop with brand team for design of future programmes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Selling: Understands the selling process currently utilised by the Sales team, both account-based selling and VBS. Confident in being able to apply aspects of the selling model to their customer interactions.
- Strategic Customer Engagement: Builds strong relationships with thought leaders and professional organisations; effectively communicates brand value and leverages feedback to inform strategy.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Works closely with cross-functional teams—including Medical, Sales, and Marketing—to deliver impactful solutions and manage projects aligned with brand goals.
- Technology Enabler: Demonstrates proficiency and efficiency when using the digital platforms and IT systems required to support the role.
- Data focused: Consistently captures relevant and appropriate customer data to more effectively contribute and inform other functions involved in channel management (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Medical, etc.).
- Meeting & Event Management: Organises and participates in conferences, symposia, and training; integrates real-time feedback and evaluation to enhance future programmes.
