Join Elexon and help shape the future of flexibility markets. We're looking for an experienced Senior Advisor to join our Market Intelligence and Advisory (MI&A) team. In this pivotal role, you'll lead thinking on flexibility markets, provide high-quality analysis and insight, and help shape Elexon's strategic positioning with government, Ofgem and industry.
If you're driven by influencing energy policy, making sense of complex market change, and guiding senior leaders with clear, actionable insight, this is a standout opportunity to make a real impact at the heart of the energy transition.
What you'll do:
- Lead the strategic leadership function for flexibility markets and act as Elexon's internal expert.
- Drive thought leadership by analysing political, regulatory and industry developments.
- Provide clear, evidence-based insight and advice to Exec, Board and senior stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with DESNZ, Ofgem and wider industry stakeholders.
- Lead consultation responses and shape Elexon's policy positioning.
- Produce high-quality briefings, recommendations and presentations.
- Guide the business through complex industry change, identifying impacts and opportunities.
- Strengthen internal understanding by sharing market intelligence across teams.
- Represent Elexon externally and support strategic engagement activities.
- Mentor and support analysts within the MI&A team.
