Join Elexon and help shape the future of energy services. We’re looking for an experienced Operational Support Manager (Grade 9) to join our Assurance team on a permanent basis. In this pivotal, customer-facing role, you’ll support BSC Parties in navigating the complexities of Settlement, market arrangements and performance obligations – keeping everything running smoothly across the industry and maintaining the accuracy of the end-to-end Settlement process.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the dedicated point of contact for a portfolio of BSC Parties
- Provide expert guidance on Settlement, Industry Data Flows and Supplier Volume Allocation arrangements
- Support customers in understanding market processes and meeting their BSC obligations
- Monitor performance, spot issues early and drive rectification plans
- Build strong relationships and deliver clear, confident advice
- Represent customer needs across internal projects, changes and industry discussions
- Keep guidance, documentation and customer insights up to date
- Support customer training, engagement and communications
What you’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of GB electricity market arrangements, especially SVA processes and systems
- Understanding of Settlement, Settlement Processes and relevant Data Flows
- Familiarity with Performance Assurance techniques within the BSC framework
- Excellent communicator – clear, confident and great at simplifying complexity
- Relationship-driven, collaborative and proactive
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
